SWARM PROTOCOL

6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO (świadczenie usługi: gry) do usunięcia przez ciebie albo resetu gry
Nick: pseudonim, który sam wybierasz pokazanie go innym graczom; rozpoznanie sprawcy nadużyć art. 6 ust.
6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO do usunięcia przez ciebie, resetu gry albo 180 dni bez wejścia do gry
Dziennik bezpieczeństwa: skrócony adres IP (bez ostatniego fragmentu), typ przeglądarki, kraj i opis zdarzenia, zapisywane tylko wtedy, gdy wykryjemy podejrzane zdarzenie (np. spam, zbyt częste akcje, próbę obejścia zabezpieczeń) ochrona gry przed nadużyciami art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO (prawnie uzasadniony interes: bezpieczeństwo) 30 dni

Prowadzimy też statystyki zbiorcze: same liczby (np. połączeń w danej godzinie czy graczy online), niepowiązane z żadną osobą, więc niebędące danymi osobowymi.

5. Komu powierzamy dane

Obaj dostawcy mogą technicznie rejestrować adresy IP w swoich logach serwerowych, zgodnie z własnymi politykami prywatności. Mogą przetwarzać dane poza Europejskim Obszarem Gospodarczym na podstawie standardowych klauzul umownych. Blog gry (swarmprotocol.blogspot.com) to osobna strona Google Blogger z własną polityką prywatności.

6. Twoje prawa

Masz prawo do dostępu do swoich danych, ich sprostowania, usunięcia, ograniczenia przetwarzania, przenoszenia oraz do sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania opartego na prawnie uzasadnionym interesie. Masz też prawo wnieść skargę do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).

17 ust. 3 RODO, żeby usunięcie konta nie pozwalało zatrzeć śladów nadużyć. Możesz też napisać na michalstankiewicz@onet.eu.

7. Dobra rada

Poprzednie wersje

Privacy policy

Effective from 5 October 2026.

In short: the game has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress stays in your browser. On the server we keep only what's needed to play with others and to protect the game from abuse, and we delete everything after a set time. You can delete your data yourself at any time: Setup → Privacy → Delete my data. Until you accept this policy, the game doesn't connect to the server and sends nothing.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Michał Stankiewicz, the game's author. Contact: michalstankiewicz@onet.eu.

2. Principles that don't change

3. What data we process and why

Kind of dataPurposeLegal basisHow long
Anonymous account identifier: random, given at your first connection, no e-mail or password knowing which units and actions in the game are yours Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the service: the game) until you delete it or the game is reset
Nickname: the name you choose showing it to other players; identifying abuse Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR 180 days after your last visit
Live game data: what your units do in the game world and other players see (the position, movement, orders and look of your ships, drone and station, your colour, points) showing it to other players live Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR not stored, only sent live
Game state saved on the server: if a game feature saves its state on the server, linked to your anonymous account (e.g. what you build in the game world, or unlocked cosmetic items) making that feature work Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR until you delete it, the game is reset, or 180 days after your last visit
Security log: a shortened IP address (last part removed), browser type, country and what happened, recorded only when a suspicious event is detected (e.g. spam, too-frequent actions, an attempt to get around the safeguards) protecting the game from abuse Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest: security) 30 days
Data in your browser (localStorage): everything the game and its labs remember between visits (progress, settings, language, your bases, where your fleet is) remembering your game between visits strictly necessary for the game to work stays on your device until you delete it; never sent to the server

We also keep aggregate statistics: plain numbers (e.g. connections in an hour or players online), not linked to anyone, so not personal data. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The game's fonts and libraries are served from our own server, not from third parties.

4. When this policy changes

New features, new content and changes to the game's rules don't change this policy as long as they fit the kinds of data and purposes in section 3. We'll update it, with a new date at the top and a notice in the game or on the devlog, only if we want to:

If a change needs your consent, it won't apply to you until you give it.

5. Who processes data for us

Both may technically log IP addresses in their server logs under their own privacy policies, and may process data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses. The game's devlog (swarmprotocol.blogspot.com) is a separate Google Blogger site with its own privacy policy.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase and restrict it, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).

How to delete your data

In the game: Setup → Privacy → Delete my data. It removes everything linked to your account from the server (the account itself included) and all game data from this browser (including your progress). Security log entries from the last 30 days remain until that period ends: an exception allowed by Art. 17(3) GDPR, so that deleting an account can't erase traces of abuse. You can also write to michalstankiewicz@onet.eu.

7. A piece of advice

Don't use your real name as your nickname. The game needs nothing that identifies you.

8. Game resets

With a major update, a change to the game's rules, or after abuse is detected, we may reset the game (a so-called wipe): delete the data stored on the server (nicknames, anonymous accounts, the game world's state) and reset progress, so everyone starts over on equal terms.

9. Handing over the game

If the game is sold or handed over to someone else, players' data goes with it to the new owner, who becomes its controller. We'll announce it in the game and on the devlog at least 30 days in advance; in that time you can delete your data if you don't want it passed on. The new owner must follow this policy until they change it under section 4.
